You could use a getaway, couldn't you! Yessssss! Especially if someone else is paying for it! LOL! Sheesh, I have been rather delinquent in blogging. Well, with 2 Facebooks, Twitter and everything else....oh, yes, My Space! errrr. I must say that I like Facebook best! Jonathan got his driver's license. To be honest I wasn't sure what would happen. I mean, when you are soooo nervous, it's pretty hard to parallel park! Remember those days!!!! Yesterday was his birthday. This is the first time he has been away on his birthday. He is on a youth beach trip. I'm sure he is having a great time! Have a great day!

| Okay, so I did 17 push-ups today. I had to beat Rick's 15 yesterday! LOL! I felt half sick after . I'm not sure my form was exactly right on target. I tried to get Rick to do sit-ups tomorrow. The reason...it's National Running and Fitness Week.
How about the Five Questions! Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many prizes. If you want to check out the prizes, go to MIX95.COM and click on Rick and Lisa FaceBook. When you are on FaceBook, click Discussions. Good Luck winning the prize package.
We bought a new GPS...it's called GPS for Dummies! Aren't they all! HaHa! This one comments when you are exceeding the speed limit. The sad part is I talk back! Our old GPS somehow has a crack in the screen by the letter C.
On another technical note...my home laptop hard drive crashed. It's back with a new hard drive and no memory! It has to go back to get a new keyboard. I'm having trouble hooking it up to the wireless network. Awwwww, technical stuff!!! I guess when in doubt...ask your kid. Generally, mine can do it in 2.5 seconds!
Oh, time goes sooooo fast, doesn't it. Only a few more weeks left in the school year. I can't believe Jonathan is a junior. I know...I know...next year...a senior. Oh, man, I don't know about this!!!! I can't believe it.

| Hey, some cool websites that we used on the Rick and Lisa Morning Show... http://www.smilemania.com/Smile_Mania.html
The 8th annual GREAT AMERICAN GRUMP OUT Wednesday, May 6, 2009. The Grump Out asks sour pusses to suck it up and refrain from getting their grump on -- at least for 24 hours. That includes no grumping, no frowning, no grousing, complaining, punching, slapping, hitting or killing. FOR ONE WHOLE DAY. If you missed the 7th annual Grump Out on May 7, 2008 the good news is that you can continue to grump or do your grouchy thing. BUT, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 you'll be asked to knock it off with your grouchy thing and put a lid on it --- just for 24 hours. (Not for a lifetime, just a mere 24 hours. If you get your 8 hours of sleep, that means you only have to go for 16 hours.) After that you can go back to your old self again.

Okay, I swore I wouldn't do two things this year...and one I swore NEVER AGAIN!!! Okay, one is a garden. I SWORE last year that I wouldn't attempt a garden this year. I figured it would be cheaper for me to buy the stuff. Okay, last year I shelled out $$ for manure (aged of course!) I wanted to start with a decent base. I bought just the right number of assorted vegetable plants. I planted them according to instruction...and yet, with all of that...everything died. Okay, wait...I did get some muselix from seed...but, I wasn't sure if it was all lettuce or if a poisonous weed was mixed in...so nix that! I got these mini mini peas. I don't think Barbie could have used them. And, I did have a tiny bit of success with my tomatoes. I planted several variety. The big ones bombed badly. The grape tomatoes grew. They were yellow. So, I paid in the n'hood of between $50 and $100 for several small containers of grape tomatoes! Hmmmm. Something not right with that picture! So, at the end of the summer...I SWORE NEVER AGAIN!!! Did I tell you that I'm thinking of planting a garden this year! LOL! I know, save yourself the time...I've had all the tips. I've followed some...it's the soil, it's the sun, it's the plant...oh, wait...ME? nah, couldn't be. I love my garden. Second. Yard Sales. When that garage door rolled down last year (or maybe it was the year before, I can't remember) I SWORE I would NEVER, EVER, ever, ever have another yard sale. I never have a stand alone one...it's always with the n'hood. Anyway, I swore my time away was more valuable. It was cold and rainy and no one came in our garage except a kid collecting for the newspaper ad?<>X@)! Well, we do have a whole basement of stuff people would be interested in, and the economy is just right for yard sales, and uh, did I mention I said I would never do a yard sale. I bought stickers to actually price things. I am not a yard sale person. The amount of time to price stuff equals exactly the amount of time that I'd rather be doing something (anything) else. Please, knock some sense into me whilst there's still time! I've been downing aspirin like there's no tomorrow. I'm probably bleeding internally! LOL! I think I pulled my hamstring muscle while running. I've been working on my bag of golden delicious apples that I've had since December. I bought like 3 bushels of seconds. They are truly delish. I'm down to the last 10 or so. I just took a bite of one, that's why I mentioned it. My thought, while seemingly random, do have a succession. Jonathan is going to Honduras on a missions trip this summer. I'm constantly amazed by his enthusiasm to get involved in so many great things. He's a great kid. I can't believe he will be a senior next year. Gunk. That's the sound of that apple getting stuck in my stomach with that little nugget of reality! Enjoy the great weather...I guess I will be working in my garden...hahahahahahahaha! Actually, I would...but, I'm waiting...you know that rule about after Mother's Day...frost, etc...
